Introduction
KnowCourse provides complete, effective course information for students at National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan to quickly grasp the thorough details of interested courses for better course selecting experiences.
The platform solved a long existing problem to direct student to possible interested course by leveraging the power of community: it combines discuss forum with course information to help students find interested courses from the others' experiences.
KnowCourse was designed to complement and optimize the school course website, NCTU Plus, providing the mobile interface.
Project advised by Yung-Ju Chang, Associate Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science at the National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.
Role
I worked as a product designer and front-end developer, collaborating with user researchers, UI designers in a 5-member team, leading all stages of design process: identification of problems, contextual inquiry, prototype iteration, and collaborating with users for testing.
