This is part of User Experience Research and Design Specialization, a series of UX research and design projects focusing on the methodologies.
Introduction
KAYAK is a travel-assisting website. People visit the site to acquire some details like plane ticket prices, hotel prices, how long would flights take and so on, to help them make better decisions while planning trips or visits.
In this project, I conducted user testing involving test sessions, surveys, and interviews to find out usability issues with the product for further improvements.
The research focus: Flight booking feature of KAYAK. Findings are presented with recommendations provided in the report.
Role
I worked as a user experience designer on this report to conduct, analyze and report the results of the realistic user test.
Time
February 2020
The project details were created as a report.
Appendix
Flow Chart
I created a task flow to get a better understanding on how users searched for the suitable flights, and at which point they made certain decisions. (e.g., When would they consider nearby airports?)
